1. The Hours: Nicole Kidman loved wearing the prosthetic nose and wore it in private too, mainly as she was undergoing a divorce from Tom Cruise at the time and was attracting a lot of paparazzi interest. Much to her delight, by wearing her fake nose out and about, she found she could easily evade the paparazzi as they didn't recognize her. [seriously, HOW AWESOME.]

2. Clueless: The baseball hat that Josh (Paul Rudd) wears is a KU hat for Kansas University. Paul Rudd is from Kansas and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. [New hometown, REPRESENT.]

3. Notes on a Scandal: When Barbara has had her meeting with the headmaster at which he reveals what he knows about her stalking of Jennifer Dodd, she throws up in a school toilet. In the background, on the wall, is written the graffiti: "Babs Covett = nasty old lezza. I want to lick her mangy twat."

4. Harold and Maude: Elton John was considered for the part of Harold.

5. Gone with the Wind: Margaret Mitchell's first choice to play Rhett Butler was Basil Rathbone. [There's lots of awesome trivia, most of it involving Mitchell, but the spit-take of Rhett=Holmes is too awesome to pass up.]
