I'm an East Coast native, and I live in Missouri. I grew up in the American Baptist Churches and the United Church of Christ, and am currently attending a Lutheran (ELCA) church.

I used to be in fandom and continue to believe that I will be in fandom again some day. The texts of my late teens and early twenties continue to inform the way I view the world, and the social justice discussions in fandom shaped the way I view texts of all kinds.

My best friend is Elizabeth (hermionesviolin). We aren't sisters, dating, or separated at birth, despite all rumors to the contrary. We met on LiveJournal, the old-fashioned way.
